When I was younger I would go into the travel agents in awe of all the glossy brocures, the pictures were amazing. I would select an armful, not to look at holidays but to cut up and make scrapbooks. I would buy the fashion or garden magazines in the newsagents and couldn't wait to get them home to add pictures to my books, a couple of which i still have at the back of a cupboard.
My Dad had a like for Kodak cameras and had his own developing equipment which always fascinated me, I knew I had a deep passion for beautiful images and taking pictures. I have had various roles within work and had been in the care industry for 20 years which I also have great passion for.
It was through my partner Steven, being a keen photographer himself that I got serious about it. I signed up with Wokingham and Bracknell College and studied my Level 2 in Image Capture and went on to do my Level 3, including courses in Lightroom, Studio Photography and Wedding Photography.
I see photography as a way of seeing things that are often overlooked in our busy world, anything and everyone can look beautiful. An instant can be gone in a second but captured forever on a camera.
I have been lucky enough to work with some amazing people, have features in local Social Media sites and am thankful for everyone who i have had the pleasure to work with over my Photographic Carrier.
